Megan Koransky is a highly experienced instructional designer and curriculum developer with over eight years of expertise in the field. Her focus lies in designing and developing high-quality academic and workplace-centric curricula and training programs that cater to the unique needs of various learners. Throughout her career, Megan has worked with subject matter experts and clients from various industries, such as healthcare, finance, career development, and the humanities. She has developed a curriculum development approach based on a thorough understanding of learners' needs and learning preferences.
As a digital learning & development leader, Megan ..integrates technology and applies leading learning theories to create meaningful programs that engage with the audience, achieve learning objectives, and provide intrinsic value. Megan's areas of expertise include curriculum development, instructional design, training facilitation, change management, project management, leadership development, web-based learning technologies,data and metric analysis, learning theories, and Quality Matters. She is proficient in various learning development software programs, such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Articulate 360, as well as learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas and Moodle.
In her current position as Director of the Hayworth Center for Digital Learning at Queens University of Charlotte, Megan leads the strategy, design, and implementation of digital learning &development initiatives across the university. She develops graduate-level and continuing education programming aligned with strategic goals of the institution to encompass best practices in adult learning theory. Megan also consults with campus leaders to identify solutions to known and unforeseen problems in collaboration with key stakeholders.
