The value of reinforcement in creating effective training program

Topic Overview:

I will delve into the value of reinforcement in creating effective training programs. Reinforcement refers to the strategic repetition and follow-up activities that solidify learning and ensure long-term retention. This approach is crucial as it combats the natural decline in knowledge retention, often illustrated by the learning and forgetting curve. Tangible benefits include improved data on learning outcomes, while intangible benefits enhance your talent brand through increased accountability and follow-up. Reinforcement can take many forms, from low-level methods like assessments, PDFs, and videos, to high-level strategies such as user-generated content. We'll explore various implementation tools that help maintain accountability and share tips for success, including setting KPIs early, keeping it simple, and encouraging creativity and fun. Don't miss this opportunity to brainstorm and elevate your training programs!
