  • You are the member registering for you and a guest who will attend the meeting with you. Chapter members can bring two (2) guests per year for free to a monthly chapter meeting.

Topic Overview: 

Ever felt like a fraud at work? As if at any moment, everyone else is going to realize that you've bluffed your way to your current position?

This phenomenon is known as the Imposter Syndrome.

Imposter Syndrome is a term used to describe a set of beliefs that has us feeling like we're frauds, we are in some way lacking or unworthy, we don't deserve our successes and/or it's only a matter of time before we're "found out."

This program will share some specific strategies to overcome Imposter Syndrome and build confidence.

Amy Wartham is the Director of Corporate Training and Executive Education at UNC Charlotte and works with some of Charlotte’s largest organizations assessing and managing their specific workforce training needs. She has been at UNC Charlotte for over 26 years and is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2023 Governor’s Award for Excellence and in 2020 was named one of the Charlotte Business Journal Charlotte’s Top 25 Women in Business leaders. Charlotte Business Leader Magazine named Amy as one of Charlotte’s “Mover and Shakers” in 2008 and in 2009 she was named as one of Charlotte’s “Women Extraordinaire.” In addition, in 2011, 2014 and 2024, the Mecklenburg Times named Amy as one of Charlotte’s “50 Most Influential Women.”

    Note:  for any guests attending (without a guest pass), please select 'Guest-In Person' for your registration; the cost is $25 to cover the meeting and food.
