Gina Herald is the Senior Director of Learning and Business Growth at BNI. She has over 30 years of experience in customer service and leadership. Almost half of that at Nordstrom, Inc. A Fortune 500 retailer, renowned for their customer service. During her tenure at Nordstrom Gina was a 3-time recipient of the company’s Inverted Pyramid Award, given in recognition of servant leadership. She was also awarded the Anniversary Cup for outstanding execution in planning, sales and customer service during a key volume period.
Armed with what she had learned, Gina left Nordstrom and started Personal Success Partners, a leadership development and customer service training practice. She helped her clients adopt “The Nordstrom Way” as a service philosophy as well as implement things like EOS and 4DX into their operational model.
As she began as an entrepreneur her mentor suggested she join BNI. Business Network Internation is the largest professional business (and referral marketing) organization in the world. She found a local Chapter in Charlotte and joined there in 2006. Gina quickly got involved in Chapter leadership and from there regional leadership. She was recognized for her outstanding performance as a Director and the overall growth of the Charlotte area. Gina was also a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners Charlotte Chapter where she received Rookie of the Year honors in her first year and was later named a finalist for Woman Business Owner of the year.
In 2017 Gina was asked by BNI to join their Global Support Team to lead the training efforts for the newly forming Company Owned Regions. Because her personal mission is “maximizing potential”, she loved the idea of making a wider contribution to BNI leaders and Members around the world by helping them embrace great service and continue to develop as leaders.
In her free time Gina enjoys traveling to fun places and spending time with people that she loves. A truly competitive spirit she loves playing and watching all kinds of sports and has a crazy passion for reading. Gina and her husband David, a licensed General Contractor and Radio Host, have 4 amazing grandchildren.
