  • If you are a guest not attending with a current member, please join us as a guest for an evening of stimulating thought, good food and professional company. Let us introduce you to our group and share why we would love for you to be a part of it!
  • If you have been given a Guest Pass by a member, but the member is unable to attend, use your Guest Pass to join us as a guest for an evening of stimulating thought, good food and professional company.

    Guest Pass must be presented upon arrival. Be sure you list the member's name that gave you the card.
  • Join your other members and their guests for an evening of great food, networking and information. You can add paid guests.
  • You are the member registering for you and a guest who will attend the meeting with you. Chapter members can bring five guests per year for free to a monthly chapter meeting.

About the Speaker

Denise is a seasoned coach and strategic business partner specializing in innovative and dynamic leadership development experiences. Beginning her career in operations she quickly discovered her passion for bringing out the best in people. Working with teams from 6 to 150 she learned how to build high performing diverse teams that deliver results. 

To cultivate her passion for developing people, Denise earned her Masters in Adult Learning at the Virginia Tech Northern Virginia Graduate Center. This became the springboard to begin her professional learning and development career. For the next 23 years Denise led Learning and Development teams in Technology, Project Management, Coaching and Leadership Development.  

Denise most recently served as the Director for Leadership Development at Compass Group, NA;the sixth largest employer in the world. At Compass Group, Denise oversaw a suite of seven custom designed  leadership development programs for high potentials. The programs ranged from entry to senior level, domestic and international. As a facilitator Denise focused on creating an engaging environment live or via distance where participants were fully involved in driving the learning. By utilizing collaborative activities and real business case studies, participants had a higher rate of learning retention and application. 

At Compass Group, Denise built strong partnerships with 29 sector business leaders to ensure that the suite of leadership development programs met ever changing business needs. Through partnerships with business leaders, Talent Management and Human Resources, Denise was able to increase program participation 30% year on year while reducing the drop rate. 

Denise is currently applying for the Professional Certified Coaching Credential through the International Coaching Federation and holds certifications in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and DiSC. Denise is well versed a number of facilitation techniques including Design Thinking, Pinpoint and World Cafe. Denise resides in Charlotte, NC where she enjoys gardening and nature photography.
